Texas Coordinator's Message #13
Dear Fellow Americans,

There is a very specific request I have for each one of you tonight. The task of coordinating the state of Texas has been monumental, both in the challenge of planning and in the privilege we have seen in the results: your patriotism in action. Eventually I would like to share our personal reflections, as an entire state that experienced such an incredible moment in our personal histories. Meanwhile, our collective journey on the literal road of healing our hearts and restoring our faith in the power of good, the power of each other, continues tonight. At 1:30am, Team Texas will receive the flag again (from Oklahoma) for the Panhandle portion. I cannot personally be there, as I am recovering from exhaustion and other effects of the physical stamina toll required for the last several weeks. In fact, only one member of my original co-coordinators staff remains in the Panhandle at present.

I asked for your help before, and you answered the call. What we need now is your prayerful support. At 1:30am, I will be on my knees in Dallas, praying for God's assistance to carry this flag through the Texas panhandle. Will you please join me? Set your alarm, and wake for one moment to join Texans in the panhandle, as they reach out for the flag, and reach up to God for His grace, endurance, protection, and supply. I know our combined acknowledgement and prayers of His ability to fill all holes and provide all safety, is the most profound "help needed" that anyone of you can provide.

Even after 1:30am, whenever you close you eyes, and reach out to God for his support, there is a runner on some narrow stretch of road. Let the flag be raised higher and carried further, thanks to the power of good, and the allness of God's presence.

With thanks that transcend words,

Laura Joyce Hubbard
